Venus makes a point of speaking to as many EleVen fans and customers as possible. From the very beginning of the line, in 2007, people asked when she would start making men’s apparel.

“The relaunch of EleVen was the perfect time to start the project,” says Venus. “I heard the call.”

Three men’s shirts mark the beginning of a group that will grow with each collection. The capsule of 3 shirts in super-soft fabric bear the message “Bring it” in a handwritten print by Venus on the inside, along with her signature “V.” A crew-neck, V-neck and polo shirt in a variety of colorways mark the basis of this collection.

“Menswear is all about details,” says Venus.” Thus the V-neck T-shirt includes shoulder seams that give it a tailored look. Pique fabric adds a classic dose of dash.

Hematite-colored zippers and a super-soft slub fabric reflect current fashion trends and make the designs cross over from the courts to the street.

“When I designed the men’s collection, I asked myself, ‘What would a guy that I want to go out with wear?’” Venus says. “The answer is something classic and effortless.”
